What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic/Operator position at Mattson Construction Co?
Mattson Construction has been setting the standard for quality construction in Minot and all over North Dakota for over a hundred years. Since 1903 and spanning three generations, we’ve operated under the ethic that every project should be accomplished on time and on budget.
We are currently looking for an experienced mechanic/operator to run the shop.
Pay: dependent on experience, up to $35 per hour.
Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield health, dental and vision insurance, AFLAC, five paid holidays and retirement with a 4% match. Insurance is after 60 days, holiday pay and retirement is after one year of employment.
Essential Job Requirements:
Assess vehicles and/or equipment to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
Provide routine inspections of vehicles/equipment and do repairs as needed.
Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
Maintain and clean shop equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times.
Jobsite deliveries.
Jobsite equipment operator.
Shop yard maintenance.
Must follow company safety standards.
Valid driver’s license is required, CDL is preferred.
Other duties as assigned.
