This opening is for a Manager - Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS). This role is responsible for the ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, managing environmental programs, and implementing EHS policies to ensure the health and safety of employees, suppliers, customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on key EHS performance indicators.
- Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to minimize risk to employees, suppliers, and customers, and ensure compliance with government health and safety regulations.
- Lead proper investigations of accidents, near misses, and safety concerns and drive corrective actions.
- Interface with outside regulatory agencies for safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with EHS related regulations; track and communicate to managers and employees.
- Develop and implement EHS standards and procedures.
- Provide guidance on health and safety issues, and recommend corrective action where hazards exist.
- Facilitate EHS Committee meetings.
- Develop EHS training content and conduct live/web employee EHS training.
- Approve management of change and chemical authorization requests.
- Administer Environmental Permits.
- Administer hazardous waste program.
- Perform EHS Management System and Compliance audits.
- Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and PPE Assessments.
- Administer Hazard Communication program including Safety Data Sheets.
- Perform/administer EHS Inspections and drive corrective actions.
- Improve the company’s environmental profile by evaluating factors such as waste disposal, resource use, and emissions.
- Ensure discharge of waste, water and other materials conforms to all Federal, State, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
- 7 - 10 years of EHS-related experience in the semiconductor industry
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience with ISO 14001, 45001 standards is preferred
