What You’ll Do
As a Mattson, Resource Specialist you’ll be working on:
- Daily Purchasing & Stocking: Visit multiple stores and restaurants daily to accurately fulfill lab personnel requests, stock kitchen supplies, and procure lunch items for employees. Timely purchases are essential.
- Order Placement & Research: Ability to place orders via Instacart or other apps, as well as source unusual or bulk items online or by phone. Purchase decisions should be based on the best value (e.g., bulk purchasing at Costco).
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, replenish items as needed using a prepared list, and ensure accurate sorting according to project codes.
- Handling & Organization: Responsible for bringing in purchased items from outside delivery bin and properly storing them. Attention to detail is required to ensure exact items are obtained.
- Kitchen & Mail Duties: Sort and distribute mail daily, dispose of expired or stale food from the Community Kitchen, restock the pantry and snack bins, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
- Financial Accuracy: Provide accounting with necessary details to balance cash and credit purchases at the end of each day.
- Customer Service & Reception: Assist with answering phones, greeting visitors, and supporting front desk operations when needed.
About You
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a person of high integrity and commitment and possess a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift 30 to 40 lb.
- Ability to use a spreadsheet (e.g. Google Sheets)

$22-25
