Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and evaluate billing procedures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
- Provide continuous training, feedback, and communication to the billing team
- Ensure all billing is processed accurately and in compliance with client guidelines and firm policies
- Manage the onboarding of new clients to e-billing systems, including system conversions, new matter setups, and rate adjustments
- Prepare and present routine WIP and billing reports to management
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance billing efficiency and reduce internal work cycles
- Conduct audits for e-billed clients with aged invoices over 60 days, focusing on improving collections
- Manage workflows within the billing team to ensure balanced distribution of tasks
- Analyze and resolve e-billing rejections, identifying trends and providing solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving issues between clients and e-billing systems
- Create and improve reporting tools to accelerate collections activities
- Oversee matter budgets and manage the billing appeals process
- Act as the subject matter expert for specialized billing transactions and key clients
