Corporate / Transactional Paralegal - International Firm

Matura Farrington is partnered with a premier international law firm currently seeking an experienced Corporate / Transactional Paralegal to support their large Los Angeles office. Key Responsibilities :

Due Diligence :

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence searches, including UCC, lien, litigation (via PACER), patent, trademark, and copyright searches.
  • Analyze search results, prepare concise and informative abstracts for review.
  • Obtain and review critical corporate documents such as charter documents and good standing certificates.

Closings :

  • Prepare and file UCC filings with detailed and accurate collateral descriptions.
  • Record UCC filings, IP collateral, and other collateral types within established timelines.
  • Draft and finalize release documents for all collateral types.
  • Prepare and manage closing checklists and execution sets.
  • Actively participate in loan closings, including compiling and distributing closing documents.

    • Qualifications :

  • At least 3-5 years of corporate / transactional paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Bachelor's Degree and / or ABA paralegal certificate
