Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage all docketing department operations, ensuring deadlines and court rules are adhered to in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the docketing team, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain and update the firm's docketing system to track court deadlines, filing requirements, and other critical dates.
- Ensure the accuracy of all docket entries, case data, and correspondence entered by the team.
- Monitor compliance with applicable federal, state, and local court rules, as well as firm policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and other staff regarding docketing-related inquiries, updates, and training.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the docketing department.
- Provide periodic departmental reports on metrics such as workflow, accuracy, and staffing needs.
