Role Overview
As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel rooms and public areas. Your exceptional cleaning skills and dedication to providing a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests will contribute to their overall satisfaction and experience during their stay at our property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and suites, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished in each room according to hotel standards.
- Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and promptly report them to the appropriate department.
- Provide courteous and friendly service to guests, responding to any requests or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring guests' personal belongings are respected and handled with care.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and hotel policies to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste, including recycling practices.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and front desk staff to address guest needs efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirement:
- Proficient in English communication (speaking, reading, and writing) to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and management, ensuring clear understanding and seamless communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and bending.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as required.
