What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner (APRN) position at Maui Care Physicians?
In collaboration with the medical oncologist:
- Provide comprehensive care to cancer survivors, including physical exams, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement survivorship care plans
- Monitor for late effects of cancer treatment
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
Qualifications:
- Nurse practitioner certification or NCCPA Certification
- 1 year experience in Advanced Provider role
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in an outpatient clinic - Preferred
- Experience in oncology setting - Preferred
