The major function of this position is:
Receive inbound freight, QC various materials, replenish stocks and fulfill orders for internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $17
The primary responsibilities and essential duties of this position are:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all customers internally and externally.
- Unload inbound trucks and containers consisting of eyewear, cases, displays, and other Maui Jim/Zeal products.
- Stock product in a timely and accurate fashion, labeling inventory when needed.
- Fulfill all International DC and US01 replenishments.
- Prepare shipments for shipping nationally or internationally. This includes sunglasses, displays, and all other MJ/Zeal product.
- Perform distribution functions in SAP (RF) as related to product transfers.
- Perform inventory counts weekly.
- Inspect various incoming POP and packaging in accordance with receiving guidelines.
- Stage completed orders in designated location.
- Maintain organized processing area.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Work on special projects and support functions throughout the distribution center.
Other Duties:
- Communicate ideas to supervisor and team to ensure department is moving toward goals.
- Communicate job flow to team lead/supervisor and work independently.
- Present flexibility and maturity in working with your team members.
- Perform all other work-related duties as requested or required.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Desired Qualifications
As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:
High school graduate with 1-2 years warehousing experience. SAP experience preferred.
