What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Manager position at Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate, Inc.?
Aloha! We are hiring a Front of House Manager. Our front of house includes retail, cafe and the upstairs chocolate bar. All areas work together as one tip pool and must work efficiently as a team.
As a manager, you will be required to:
- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and customer focus.
- Set daily priorities and execute tasks at the appropriate times.
- Supervise and train team members to enhance customer service and sales performance.
- Deal with ambiguity and problem solve in the moment.
- Ensure an excellent customer experience for all guests.
- Communicate with all other managers and departments.
Requirements:
- Must be available Sunday through Wednesday
- 8 hour shifts.
- Understanding and using POS systems.
- Customer engagement skills.
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- At least one year of retail, café or restaurant management experience.
