What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social/YouTube Content Creator position at Maui Powerhouse Gym?
Responsibilities:
- We're looking for somebody (or people) who is/are capable of giving an interview, who has no problem facing the camera, having fun on camera, who can make other people laugh, who likes to take photos and play with media. In essence, we are hiring a fun, film video nerd(s) who wants to be a part of a visible and vibrant segment of the Maui community. We are aware that many av nerds (like us) travel in packs, so if you are a pack, that's cool too.
- At the direction of our Brand Manager and Social Media Manager, you will create fun, entertaining, revealing, engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website, social media, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns
- Edit and proofread content to ensure high quality and adherence to brand guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content writing
Requirements:
- Experience.
- Proven experience as a content writer or similar role
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in using film software.
- Knowledge of film production techniques is a plus
- Sense of humor is a must. We like to laugh and have fun in general, especially with our social media content
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
