Responsibilities include program development, team management, compliance with MIL and HHSAA regulations, fostering school spirit, and promoting student-athletes’ academic and athletic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization, scheduling, and supervision of all athletic programs.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage coaches for lower school activities and middle and high school teams.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to promote student-athlete well-being.
- Ensure compliance with all league, state, and school athletic policies.
- Manage budgets, equipment, and facilities.
- Represent Maui Prep at league meetings and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in athletic administration or coaching.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and connect with students, staff, and the community.
- A commitment to fostering sportsmanship.
- A leader, able to work with Administrative Staff, Donors, Board Members, etc. to present programs and be professional in various communication platforms.
