The Operations Manager is responsible for working closely with the General Manager and the President to oversee distribution and frozen operations at Maui Soda & Ice Works. This role ensures operational excellence by meeting safety, food safety, quality, cost, volume, and service standards while executing strategies to achieve short- and long-term operational and profit goals. The Operations Manager also leads efforts in implementing continuous improvement principles and developing future talent and leadership within the organization.
Qualifications Standards
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree, required Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, preferred
MBA preferred
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing departments, with direct and indirect leadership responsibilities involving at least 5 team members.
- Budgetary oversight experience of $5M-$10M annually.
- Industry experience in food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, or consumer packaged goods within a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
- Proven track record of applying continuous improvement principles in a business setting.
- Experience managing safety and environmental performance in an operational environment.
