This is an exciting, well-compensated position for an industrial / product designer who is looking to grow technically in the highly competitive national jewelry manufacturing industry. Candidates should be self-motivated, be able to follow brief directions, have a passion for jewelry, and possess the computer design skills to bring new designs from concept to completion.REQUIREMENTS : Three years of experience modelling organic forms in Rhinoceros or equivalent CAD programThe ability to rapidly turn concept sketches into closed accurate 3D models and prototype themThe creativity to develop original product lines when necessaryAttention to detail and an ability to work with a team of other designersMust be comfortable with peer evaluation in a collaboration environmentBe able to self-manage projects deadlinesAll applicants must provide samples of their work in addition to a current resumeOTHER QUALITIES : Experience with organic 3D modelling, engineering rapid prototypingExperience with custom design is highly desirable.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES : Special projects will be assigned as needed.Maui Divers Jewelry is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who celebrates diversity#J-18808-Ljbffr
