MKR Laundry Attendant II
Primary Responsibilities : Press all clothing including staff uniforms, guest's clothing, and outside laundry contracts. Special request from resort, staging of clothing, hang uniforms. Unload and load dryers when needed. Run sheets and table cloths, napkins, pillow slips and other items through ironers. Send terry towels through terry folder or fold by hand. Fold bedspreads, blankets, and robes. Complete all laundry orders for food and beverage, spa, fitness and golf facilities.
Essential Duties :
- Assist in sorting laundry and spot treating.
- Load and unload dryers.
- Operate all pressing equipment; ironers and steam tunnel.
- Operate terry folders or fold by hand.
- Read care labels to properly treat and clean clothing, uniforms and linen.
- Complete laundry orders for food and beverage, spa, fitness and golf facilities.
- Complete paperwork for guest and staff clothing and other outside contracts.
- Follow safety procedures and the proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station.
- Keep equipment clean and report any problems.
- Assist other positions in the department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
