Seamstress
Primary Responsibilities : Create, alter, and repair garments, bedding and cushion covers or other products as directed, using sewing machine or by hand sewing. Assist in answering the telephone, issuing uniforms or relieving the Uniform Attendant.
Essential Duties :
- Create, alter, and repairs employee uniforms.
- Draft patterns and custom sew garments and uniforms.
- Sew cushions, tablecloths, bedspreads and other items are directed.
- Repair linen, cushion covers, bedspreads and other items as directed.
- Assist the uniform attendant as needed.
- Repair guest clothing.
- Follow safety procedures and policies.
- Responsible in taking measurements and issuing uniforms to new hires.
- Keep proper inventory of uniforms and supplies. Communicate any needs to Housekeeping manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
