We are seeking a nursing leader who is progressive, innovative and clinically experienced RN to serve as Director of Nursing. The individual must possess a proven ability of obtaining positive outcome from team members. Responsibilities include all functions associated with operating a successful skilled nursing service department. Specific details about job duties will be provided at interview.
Qualifications
- BSN, Registered Nurse, valid Hawaii license
- 5-year experience in leadership position
- Must know MDS; RAC-CT Certification preferred
- Must know CMS requirements, reimbursement programs and employment laws,
- Competence in using the Computer (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Marketing/PR experience welcome

Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and MDS requirements.
- Manage nursing operations, including patient care coordination and staff scheduling.
- Implement and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery in various settings such as assisted living and hospice.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure effective use of EHR systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $124,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
