Locally owned, independent grocery store in downtown Wisconsin Dells is looking for an experience Deli/Bakery Manager. Position will require managing and directing staff. Writing a schedule, ordering, merchandising, following systems and planograms in line with the store's mission. We are looking for an experienced deli/bakery manager or assistant deli manager looking to make their next career move. We are looking for someone who understands the inner-workings of a grocery store deli/kitchen/bakery department. And has a passion for food and the industry.
We are looking for an individual who is interested in knowing his/her business and acting professionally. A keen interest in all things food, as well as a sincere interest in cultivating staff growth is key to this job. Days, nights, weekends and holidays will be required. However, the majority (about 75%) is during the weekday, more on this can be discussed at the interview. This position is for a year-round employee and not a seasonal J-one status student.
Unlike many stores, this department has the proper people/staff, they are just looking for a leader who is ready to mentor, guide and direct. A true passion for people and the industry is essential to this position.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
