What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classic/Hot Rod Car Restorer position at Maurer & Scott Inc?
Summary
We are hiring for a Professional Classic/Hot Rod Car builder at our Coopersburg location. In this position you MUST have classic car or hot rod restoration experience, your own hand tools and be detailed oriented. Mechanic skills are a bonus!
Additional Requirements Preferred:
- Rust repair experience including floor pans, quarter panels and various patch panels.
- Tig welding, fabrication skills and metal shaping a plus.
- Block sanding body filler and primer.
- Primer application and paint prep.
- Wet sanding and polishing skills.
- Body assembly/disassembly.
- Body panel alignment.
- Wiring, plumbing and final assembly experience a plus.
- Locating and ordering parts.
- Documenting repairs.
