Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Busser/Barback/ Food Runner to join our team at Maurice Car'rie Winery / Ultimate Vineyards. As a crucial member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient dining and bar area, supporting our servers and bartenders in delivering exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Busser Duties:
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly and efficiently.
- Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the public areas.
- Refilling water stations and providing additional service utensils as needed.
- Collaborating with wine servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Barback Duties:
- Assisting bartenders in setting up and closing down the bar area.
- Restocking wines, beverages, bar supplies, including glassware, napkins, straws, etc.
- General Support:
- Providing assistance to other staff members as needed during peak periods.
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination.
- Adhering to all safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of glassware and cleaning chemicals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
