Skilled Maintenance - HVAC

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma (or GED);
2. HVAC diploma preferred; HVAC certificate or other industry certifications will be considered;
3. Five to seven years HVAC experience required (or related), or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
4. Meets the necessary health and physical qualifications; and
5. Maintains current Tennessee driver's license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, and replaces the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment including preventive maintenance.
2. Maintains, repairs, or replaces boilers, cooling towers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, radiant/electric/gas heaters, exhaust fans, variable speed drives, actuators, dampers, and filters.
3. Is knowledgeable and assists with the maintenance of chemical treatment of the water loop, indoor air quality and the energy management system as needed.
4. Operates motorized service vehicle; maintains adequate supply of tools and parts.
5. Responds to emergency calls.
6. Communicates with vendors when placing orders.
7. Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
8. Performs other related duties as required.
