Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Surety Bonds Portfolio Executive to join our team at Maury Donnelly & Parr Inc. As a key member of our Commercial Surety space, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all assigned surety new business and renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to manage assigned accounts, ensuring adequate and appropriate coverage, preparing final proposal presentations, analyses, and summaries as needed.
- Experience with surety bond portfolios and associated timelines, including preparing bonds, coordinating bond preparation, invoicing, obtaining bid results from customers, and sending them to underwriters.
- Market the account and review marketing placements.
- Initiate and follow up on renewal applications.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities, expanding and rounding out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending, and implementing proper coverage.
- Responsible for ensuring that all terms and conditions of the insurance policies are properly prepared.
- Track claims, flagging claim-heavy accounts and incorrectly written accounts.
- Responsible for agency billing according to service standard.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
- Computer skills required: Epic Online Database software; Microsoft Office Suite.
