Certification Details
Our organization requires the following certifications from all clinicians:
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN)
Job Details
This position is located in our Observation unit, where patients are cared for after coming through the Emergency Department but are not sure if they will be staying or returning home.
Position/Specialty and Shift Information
Position: Stepdown/SSU
Shift: ASAP (as soon as possible)
Work Environment and Patient Ratios
Our stepdown/SSU unit operates with a 1:5 patient-to-clinician ratio.
Clinicians may also float to med/surg units, which operate at a 1:5 patient-to-clinician ratio.
Requirements and Expectations
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- A valid state nursing license
- Proof of I9 or Attestation
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of Everify or Attestation
- Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
Schedule Information
We require clinicians to work every 3-4 weeks, and we are open to accommodating block schedules if needed.
