What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician - Service Tech, Journeyman and Apprentices position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
The Electrician will be responsible for installing and repairing all electrical devices of the plant. The role requires troubleshooting industrial control circuits, modifying circuits in industrial machines and systems, and troubleshooting PLC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and test Ethernet networks
- Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment
- Assist maintenance teams as needed
Requirements:
- At least one to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and electrical drafting experience
- Military training
- Industrial experience
- Able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Able to read and understand simple electrical schematics and drawings
- Proficient in using electrical test instruments
- Able to wire electrical panels from schematics
- Understands quality, PPE requirements, and safety policies and procedures
Preferred Skills:
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience or training
- Human/Machine interface (HMI) experience or training
- Industrial Ethernet experience or training
- Industrial control network experience or training
- Industrial vision inspection systems experience or training
- Punch press OSHA controls requirements experience or training
- Servo motor experience or training
Physical/Visual Demands/Work Environment:
The Electrician must have the physical ability and coordination to remove and replace parts that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
