What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Attendant 1st Shift position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing staff in the Managers absence.
- Give directions to the shift production staff, per managers instructions daily.
- Knowledgeable about processing work orders for customers.
- Available for production staff during your shift, Monday through Friday. Overtime as needed.
- Will be responsible for safety, daily reports, data entry, etc.
- Responsible for prioritizing and organizing work orders.
- Assisting the manager in all projects : plant inventory, meetings, and other similar activities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required for satisfactory performance.
Education and / or Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school in manufacturing related areas; or six to nine months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills
Has the ability and knowledge of working in the manufacturing field.
Have knowledge and experience of driving a lift truck.
Have computer skills and knowledge. (experience working with SAP, this is not necessary however would be beneficial).
