Job Details
Responsibilities:
?Adhere without exception to all safety policies and procedures, including use of all PPE and safety equipment.
?Able to use all equipment & machinery, understand and read all schematics drawings related to the trade requirements.
?Troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine root cause and initiate appropriate remedial action.
?Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches without supervision.
?Ensure machinery and equipment functions properly on completion of repairs, modification, and installations.
?Accomplish all work orders to maintain safety; reduce downtime; decrease scrap; improve quality production; and improve plant efficiency.
?Committed to continuous (daily and weekly) improvement of machinery, equipment, and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production supporting equipment.
?Follows all safety rules and procedures including Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards and observes the operations to ensure a safe work environment.
?Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with co-workers and other departments. A person with a positive ?can do attitude.?
?Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
?High School Diploma or GED
?3-5 years? experience in the maintenance of production within a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
?Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.
?Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components; including, but not limited to, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Material Handling, Sensor, Transmitters, DC and AC circuits, Transformers, Power and Energy, Arc Flash
?Working knowledge and experience on Automation; Industrial Process and Control system; PLC; Measuring Devices; Instrumentation; Robotic Application; Bulk Handling System
?Working knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, heating, and wiring) and Plant Equipment (Air Compressors, Ventilation, Cooling Tower, Condenser, Backflow preventer)
?Mindfulness to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
?The ability to perform work in a mature and professional manner and perform all assigned duties in a demanding environment with lots of changes.
