Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a skilled maintenance team, issuing work orders and overseeing equipment modifications along with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with production and scheduling teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Engage directly in hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment to maximize performance.
- Implement and enforce plant policies, monitor attendance, and administer corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documents related to key operational metrics, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Conduct safety inspections and promote safety training to identify and rectify unsafe conditions and procedural violations.
- Prepare purchase requisitions for materials, tools, and replacement parts, and manage spare parts inventory as needed.
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors and suppliers concerning repair products and project requirements.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, harnessing methodologies such as Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, and 8D Problem Analysis.
- Drive the Maintenance team to foster a positive work culture while achieving performance targets and productivity standards.
- Analyze and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly to enhance plant operations and maintenance resolutions.
- Plan and coordinate installations and removals of equipment within the facility.
- Ensure that Maintenance employees are well-trained in their roles, including safety, quality, and production; recommend additional training as needed.
- Act as the backup to the Maintenance Manager when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental objectives.
