Job Title: Maintenance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing plant's equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and hold employees accountable in achieving maintenance goals and enhance employee work performance and productivity through coaching and feedback.
- Direct the troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine root cause and initiate appropriate remedial action.
- Oversee quality maintenance and repair of equipment to improve availability and reliability for production.
- Ensure preventative maintenance compliance and that repair history is properly documented.
- Assist in sourcing and requisitioning maintenance supplies, equipment, and services within budgeted guidelines.
- Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as PM compliance, schedule compliance and break-in work as tools to improve maintenance execution.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic.
- Knowledge and experience working with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.
- Able to order parts and maintain inventory of all maintenance-related material.
- Ability to use a lathe, and milling machine considered an asset.
- Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components; including, but not limited to, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Material Handling, Sensor, Transmitters, DC and AC circuits, Transformers, Power and Energy, Arc Flash.
Additional Requirements:
- Working knowledge and experience on Automation; Industrial Process and Control system; PLC; Robotic Application.
- Working knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance (Roof, Dock, plumbing) and Plant Equipment (Boiler, Air Compressors, Ammonia/Freon/Glycol Refrigeration, HVAC, Ventilation, Cooling Tower, Condenser, Backflow preventer, Sprinkler and Fire Extinguisher, Wastewater System, …)
- Planning, scheduling & assigning ability while well experienced in defining priorities, required skills & resources.
- Computer Savvy, hold practical knowledge on Microsoft Office.
