We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with minimal supervision to maintain and repair machinery and equipment
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
- Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment
- Perform building maintenance, including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as they arise
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent - Technical degree in maintenance-related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a metal manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing
- PLC experience preferred
- Ability to use all types of welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools
Work Environment:
The employee will frequently be exposed to moving mechanical parts and may work with materials that could irritate eyes, skin, and breathing. Personal protective equipment is required.
