What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Responsibilities :
- Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
- Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
- Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift
- May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments
- Assist in changeovers when needed
- Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and / or slitters
- Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals
- Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
