Responsibilities :
- Lead and train team members to achieve production goals in Safety, Quality, Production, Packaging, and Maintenance.
- Coordinate production efforts with various departments for timely and cost-effective results.
- Ensure adequate coverage for planned and unplanned absences with the operations team.
- Establish and monitor production standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Accurately enter production data into systems to track KPIs related to efficiency, downtime, and inventory.
- Keep the production floor informed by updating communication boards and leading start-up meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance efficiencies, reduce overtime and repair costs, implementing cost-effective measures as needed.
- Promote a clean and organized work environment using lean techniques like 5S.
- Serve as the first point of contact for mechanical failures or production issues, guiding maintenance staff in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct tool inventory reviews to ensure availability of essential tools and parts.
- Prepare and verify employees' work hours for payroll submission.
