What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician - 3rd shift position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Responsibilities
- Perform final inspection to verify process and product quality.
- Inspect drums internally and externally with provided light source
- Records test information accurately, on the computer and in neatly written shift reports
- Works closely with front line, operators, and production supervisors to advise when adjustments are needed.
- Notifies supervisor when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted.
- Follows procedures for containments and placing defective or contaminated drums on HOLD
- May be required to assist with testing on samples and special situations
- Must perform all duties in the department in a safe manner and consistent with all company safety rules
- Develops and demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of established quality policy, procedures, and instructions.
- Various other duties and special projects as assigned.
