What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Coordinator position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Shipping Coordinator
The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at BWay are dynamic. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any / all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list :
- Maintains and file shipping documents
- Generates BOL (bill of lading) for outbound freight
- Schedules LTL (less than truck load) with LTL carriers
- Performs check-in of inbound freight
- Completes daily cycle counts of finished goods
- Verifies loading documentation and check for accuracy
- Notifies the supervisor of any issues with shipments
- Makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the job, efficiency, quality and quantity.

Inside conditions, extremes of heat (100 seasonal), exposure to humidity, working in tight areas, high noise levels from production environment, including some exposure to outside weather elements, oil and dirt.
