Welder Machine Operator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS .

• Safety Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations Utilize proper PPE at all times
• Quality Responsible to produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed Compliance to ISO 9001 Complete Manufacturing / Quality documents Communicate with internally concerning deviations or general request Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices
• Environmental Verify compliance to local, state, and federal regulations Complete reports as necessary internally / externally
• Primary Production Responsibilities Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies / products as needed Set-up and adjust Welder and Forming Line to correct settings Form drum body shells to the customer specifications per the production schedule Weld drum body shells to schedule requirements and specification standards Change over welder and forming machines to produce different drums, as dictated by production scheduling requirements Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc. Follow direction and product required quantities Troubleshoot mechanical issues with other operators, maintenance, and management
