Maverik's Spring Intern Program is designed to provide a structured learning experience, equipping interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. The internship will run from March 2025-June 2025, with a commitment of 30 hours per week. This opportunity is exclusively available to full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university. As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in improving the People Team's reporting processes, with a focus on Cognos Business Intelligence, user feedback, and report standardization. Summary of Internship Project : Contributing to the People Team’s reporting processes with a focus on Cognos Business Intelligence and user feedback. Throughout this internship, you will achieve the following :

• Gaining practical experience with Cognos Business Intelligence and other BI tools.
• Learning how to create dynamic, user-friendly reports.
• Working on improving the consistency and user experience of the People Team’s reports.
• Assisting in auditing existing reports and updating them to ensure they are current and non-redundant. In this internship, you will work towards : Contributing to the People Team’s reporting suite by :
• Creating dynamic Employee Roster reports in Cognos BI.
• Collecting and analyzing user feedback to improve reporting consistency.
• Auditing and updating active scheduled reports to eliminate duplication and outdated content. The successful candidate should possess :
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with users and teams.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Basic knowledge of BI tools (such as Excel, Tableau, Cognos BI) is a plus. Qualifications :
• A full-time college student that has completed their sophomore year by the beginning of the internship
• Currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a degree related to the position
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn about supply chains and vendor management
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
