Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives merchandising efficiencies through analytical insights
• Delivers actionable insights enabling use of data driven planograms
• Ensures all planograms and store floorplans influenced by the Category Managers are
  simple and easy for our stores to execute
• Develops processes & discipline to ensure all planograms and store floorplans are executed
  consistently for our stores
• Flawlessly delivers the products, services, promotions & Maverik shopping experience in
  every store, every day, to thrill every customer; this includes appropriate store floorplans,
  up-to-date planograms, and a clean functioning database
• Ensures all POP signage is accurate, timely, and delivered with simple & easy directions to
  all Maverik stores
• Assists with reset execution, including but not limited to:
• • Reviews all planograms to ensure consistent information is provided to the stores
  • Develop planograms (with Category Manager) for categories where a category
    captain is not utilized
  • Reviews and validates planograms that are provided by Maverik vendor partners
  • Ensures mark-down and discontinued item process is followed
  • Ensures process has been followed completely and that timelines are met
  • Communicates reset steps and information to the stores

Qualifications: Education

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Qualifications: Experience

• 1 years of work experience in marketing, space planning, category management,
  inventory, logistics or comparable work
• 3 years of relevant merchandising experience, preferred
• Experienced in software implementation and integration preferred
• Advanced knowledge in SQL Server and other database applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
• Knowledge of basic Space Planning tools and reporting
• A strong sense of urgency about solving problems where they start and get work done
• Success in driving results to meet team and individual goals

  • Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $54k -$60k annually DOE Bonus Opportunity

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
