Job Title: Middleware (ACE) Developer
Onsite Requirement/Remote (Time zone?): This position is based in Houston. Currently, the role requires in-office presence every Wednesday. Additionally, in the third week of each month, the candidate must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Note that this arrangement is temporary, and there may be a future requirement for daily in-office attendance, although the exact timing is uncertain
Top 5 Skill sets:
Proven experience as an App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer
Strong knowledge of IBM ACE/IIB development, including ESQL, Java, and integration patterns.
- AWS Cloud required
Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, and related technologies.
Familiarity with various data formats and transformation techniques.
Understanding of message-oriented middleware (MQ) and related technologies.
Nice to have skills or certifications:
ODM- Operation Decision Center
TeamCity
Harness
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
QUAL CALL NOTES
- Min of 8-10 years of experience with IBM ACE programming
- Core is ACE Perficient
- Professional who has strong experience with eSQL and Java
- Cloud experience with AWS
- Automation using Harness for CI/CD

- Houston based contractor due to visibility of the project

- Project: Interline paid seats via Star Alliance
- Onboarding of 26 carriers within Interline partners --> different integration systems for other airline partners
