Job Description:
The Senior Solutions Architect - AWS will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of advanced cloud solutions using AWS services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security best practices, and the ability to work closely with clients to craft tailored solutions. The Senior Architect will oversee complex projects, mentor junior architects, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption and optimization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex AWS cloud solutions
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to clients
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud-based systems
- Mentor and support junior architects and development teams
- Optimize cloud costs and performance
- Implement infrastructure automation practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced cloud-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Stay updated on new AWS services and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Infrastructure automation (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Proven track record of designing complex, scalable cloud solutions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Previous utility experience is not required but nice to have.
Education & Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
Experience:
- 7 years of experience in cloud architecture or AWS solutions
