Job Title: Business Analyst - Operational Readiness
Duration: 6-9 months (with likely extension)
Location: Richmond, VA (initial 6-8 weeks onsite)
Travel Reimbursed: Yes (for possibility of a hybrid schedule of 1-2 weeks per month onsite)

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically with a focus on operational readiness and gap analysis.
- Experience in identifying gaps in systems, software, and operating practices.
- Expertise in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio.
- Ability to stay highly organized and detail-oriented in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with gap analysis and implementing solutions to address identified gaps is required.
- Utility industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Perform a gap analysis to assess current operational processes and systems.
- Identify gaps in operations, systems, and software that may impact organizational readiness.
- Develop a strategy and action plan to address these gaps across various operational areas.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the implementation of the plan and drive adoption.
- Ensure the project adheres to the schedule, scope, and budget.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the final solutions align with the organization’s future state and strategic goals.
- Ensure alignment between as-is and to-be states for operational readiness.
- Maintain adherence to the project’s schedule, scope, and budget.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying and addressing gaps.
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and a focus on maintaining the quality of deliverables.
