Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert programming and application development support for the JOBS Outcome Indicators (JOI) application, a web-based system designed to collect and manage data from contract vendors related to services provided to program participants. This role will involve troubleshooting, correcting application issues, and driving data modernization efforts. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while contributing to meaningful programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, test, implement, and document application software in collaboration with stakeholders and business process owners using Agile SCRUM methodology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, particularly in the creation and management of services, contractors, contracts, referrals, and related attributes.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define specifications, design solutions, and implement features that enhance the JOI application.
- Utilize expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server (2017 or later) to maintain and improve the system’s functionality.
- Create and manage automated CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth deployment and continuous integration.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality code, and troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
- Support application hosting and database management using Microsoft Azure PaaS and related cloud technologies.
- Work with end-users and provide training and support for the developed software.
- Document all aspects of the application’s design and development, including technical specifications, system overviews, and user guides.
Scope of Work :
Review and resolve errors in the creation and management of core system components such as services, contractors, contracts, referrals, case participants, and activities.Ensure system functionality meets required authentication and authorization standards, leveraging both application-based and Azure Active Directory components.Support the integration of user role-specific interfaces, landing pages, and security measures.Participate in regular sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, and sprint reviews, delivering updates and coordinating timelines.Required skills and experience :
