Job Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 6 months (Contract-W2)
Location: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid)
Job Overview:
The Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Business Analyst skill set or a Business Analyst with Project Management experience to support the implementation of JIRA within the Human Resources (HR) department. This role will work closely with the JIRA Product Owner, HR Director, and key stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, and timelines.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule, breaking tasks into actionable steps.
- Work with the HR team to define and refine project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective communication.
- Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test cases, reviewing defects, and ensuring successful issue resolution.
- Monitor project progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and remove project blockers, escalating critical issues to management.
- Maintain workflow documentation and assist in defining future-state processes.
- Support change management activities to ensure a smooth transition.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking follow-ups.
- Perform additional project duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst.
- Experience with JIRA software implementation.
- Prior experience working with Human Resources systems or processes.
- Ability to execute projects effectively in environments with limited information and ambiguity.
- Strong ability to work independently while keeping the team informed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving, organization, conflict resolution, and time management.
- Proven ability to build relationships and earn trust from stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback and navigate conflicts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HR technology and process optimization.
- Familiarity with agile project methodologies.
