IT Security Admin - Patch Management
📍 Location: Denver, CO (100% Remote, Must Reside in CO)
⏳ Duration: 2 Months (W2)
Job Summary:
Manage security patching, application updates, and deployments to ensure system stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Patch security vulnerabilities & update applications (80%)
🔹 Support & monitor Tanium, Windows Server, Linux systems
🔹 Deploy & maintain physical/virtual servers securely
🔹 Collaborate with IT teams for issue resolution
🔹 Provide after-hours support for critical issues
💼 Other Duties (20%): Change management, IT asset tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
✅ Must-Have:
✔️ 3 years as a Windows/Linux Systems Admin
✔️ Experience with IT security frameworks (NIST, CIS, HIPAA, PCI)
✔️ Bachelor's in IT or related field
✅ Preferred:
✔️ Microsoft MCSE Certification
✔️ Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
✔️ Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
✔️ Security tools: CrowdStrike, Tenable, Tanium
🎯 Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, Security , GIAC, CISSP, CISA, CISM
