What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Senior Consultant (ISSO) position at Maverc Technologies?
As an Information Technology Senior Consultant/Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) you will be become part of a dynamic research and development team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hardware inventory updates & change log updates
- Software inventory updates and change log status
- Work various secure the enterprise (STE) activities
- Review Xacta notices, complete SEAR audit log records, review and address POAM for IAVAx
- Coordinate with system owners and system administrators,
- Perform various SSP efforts, review scans & work with system owners & system administrators to address and remediate issues
- Address computer incident security reports, begin authorization for new systems and reauthorization for legacy systems, etc.
- U.S Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience; Associates degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
- Certification: IATII
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be reliable, professional, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
This position is 100% onsite in Laurel, MD.
