- Create and manage virtual environments (VMWare, ESX, VCenter Administration)
- Support IT system implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Manage IT system infrastructure and processes
- Support day-to-day operations and monitoring of client, server, storage, and network devices and data flows
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
- Configure and maintain operating systems and installs
- Configure network components. Implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Systems administration of hardware and software in support of developing and testing of information technology systems
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI FSP Clearance
- 10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree. Can be substituted for an additional 5 years experience
- 5 years' experience in Systems Administration of hardware and software in support of development and testing of information technology systems
- Strong Linux Experience
- Experience with Tier 2 support
- Experience in writing scripts (Bash, Shell, Python, Perl)
- Proficiency in working with applicable network devices to include routers and switches, gateways and hubs
- Experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP and DNS
- Demonstrated experience working with a team to introduce and integrate new technologies into existing production environments
- Experience configuring and maintaining storage and file systems (NFS, EXT3/4, XFS)
- Experience in developing and delivering briefings, technical presentations and program documentation to senior program management
- Experience with integrated processing environments such as Storage Area Network
