Summary:

Operate CNC router supplying pre-cut plastic substrates to multiple departments in the production process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • All function/operation of CNC Router (including loading material, operating router, cleaning vacuum system, and cleaning router table).
  • Changing tooling on CNC while keeping table smooth and tools accurate for cutting depth.
  • Running correct material at correct speeds to ensure proper parts and quality.
  • Perform standard housekeeping duties throughout the day.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
  • Perform in accordance with Maverick Boat Groups safety policies and procedures.

General computer knowledge required. Sorting and matching work orders with cut parts and ensuring numbers match. Write numbers on parts accurately and legibly.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to read tape measure.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
