What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graduate Engineer/Engineer In Training - Civil position at Maverick Engineering?
We are looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) to grow with us. As an EIT, you will work with our registered civil engineers performing:
- Engineering design, plan production and construction administration on residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial projects.
- Design projects involving storm water management, utility design, permitting, zoning and infrastructure improvements.
- Evaluate, plan and design waterlines, sanitary sewers, pump stations, paving and street design, storm water, municipal distribution systems and site civil project improvements.
- Conduct research and development of municipal, industrial and privately held projects for compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Interest in learning about land development
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
- FE/Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred, but not required
- AutoCAD Civil3D or Microstation experience preferred
- This position is an entry level position designed for someone fresh out of college
