Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Housing available after 90 daysThe Bar Supervisor is to ensure that the individual outlets of the beverage department are operating in an efficient manner while offering the highest levels of product and service quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Ensure proper staffing for beverage in accordance with current labor models and expected guest volumes.Ensure beverage products meet quality standards and are served according to current specifications.Assist in controlling beverage costs : ensure inventories are protected and remove potential avenues for theft, ensure all items served are accurately recorded in the POS, ensure portion sizes meet current specifications.Assist department leadership team in reaching all established financial and service goals.Lead, develop and coach beverage service employees. Manage all aspects of employee performance including progressive discipline.Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures that all shifts are covered.Communicate as needed with other members of the Beverage management team as well as other departments throughout the property.Requisition supplies in appropriate quantities from both internal and external suppliers.Inspect beverage areas for cleanliness and organization.Stay current on special events, functions, featured menus, etc.Efficiently complete all administrative tasks required for assigned outlets and employees. Must be comfortable working with multiple computer applications.Maintain adequate timekeeping records.Conduct periodic staff meetings.Ensure all beverage departments adhere to all established health and safety guidelines.Communicate constantly with guests to ensure satisfaction and to collect feedback.Ensure all employees adhere to responsible alcoholic beverage service standards.Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age.Must be high school graduate or equivalentMinimum of one year of Beverage experience, preferably in a multi-unit operation.Excellent public relations skills are mandatory.Must obtain Alcohol Awareness Class and Bar Card.Working Conditions : This position typically works varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 20 pounds. Must be able to work an entire shift walking and / or standing.
