What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Heat Treat Operator position at Maverick Molding?
Essential Job Functions
Load and unload furnaces
Assist with operation, control and monitoring of heat treating and related equipment
Good communication skills working as part of a team with other operators
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Ability to read and use micrometers and calipers (O.D., I.D.)
Ability to do basic machine set up
Knowledgeable on reading blueprints a plus
Reliable transportation
Must follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of heat-treating processes
- 1-2 years or equivalent experience and tech school certification
Reliable attendance
High School Diploma / GED required.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
Must pass a Drug Test and background check prior to hiring.
