The Poker Floor Supervisor implements and ensures compliance with Nevada gaming regulations, company internal control policies and safety regulations. Trains, supervises and monitors performance of staff to ensure smooth and efficient gaming operations during shift.
- Supervises the operation of gaming tables.
- Ensures fills/credits are handled in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Promotes positive guest relations.
- Assists in answering questions or resolving disputes.
- In collaboration with shift manager, coordinates dealer work schedules and ensures that games are supplied with sufficient and proper equipment.
- Creates a positive, professional atmosphere for staff and guests.
- Instills an atmosphere that encourages staff to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve conflicts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum six months dealing experience and appropriate licensure.
- Qualifications of minimum one year of Poker/Table Games experience.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to review and comprehend all documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all times, with all levels of employees and guests.
- Ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers.
- Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Superior guest relation skills are necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. Must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time, speak and hear, write, finger and feel, lift and carry up to thirty pounds (30 lbs.) and occasionally more. Employee frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and endure variable temperature conditions (extreme hot or cold). Must be 21 years of age or older.
