About the Position:
Reporting to the Director Specialized Operations ("DSO”) the Specialized Operations Representative I is responsible for supporting the managing the maintenance, implementation of processes, policies and training related to certain systems utilized by Maverick including but not limited to, TSYS, Repay, etc. he Specialized Operations Representative I is also responsible for providing support in interdepartmental functions as it relates to TSYS, residual breakdowns, and any other Partner or Merchant facing financially impactive duties as needed.
- Acting as an escalation point to resolve unique or complex issues that do not have standardized solutions.
- Initiates research related to account profitability, interchange, extensive merchant reconciliation, & CSA escalations, etc.
- Supports Accounting Department with tasks including, but not limited to residual profit, merchant adjustments, as well as further audits as needed.
- Processes and manage Rapid Disputes Resolutions (RDR) processes and credits.
- Assist Associate Director with additional Front/Back-end implementation for third party processors.
- Assist in the Maverick Dashboard enhancement as it relates to processors integration and testing.
- Assisting with Partner Residual escalations including recalculations, losses, etc.
- Assist with Managing the monthly statement messages for all banks/merchants.
- Supporting specialized projects on an as-needed basis as directed by Department or Company leadership.
- Initiates Fee uploads into TSYS including monthly NSF billing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel.
- Working TSYS/PPM/CBOS knowledge
- 2-5 years payment processing industry experience
- Ability to think analytically and strong Attention to Detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to liaise with team members of various levels.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity, and risk.
- Works on-site at Maverick’s Calabasas location.
